Keep your eyes open on the forums and the home page of this site for volunteer announcements.

2. How can I become a GCF08 sponsor?

Send an email request to the GCF committee at committee@gcfpittsburgh.com. We will then contact you.

3. How do I register?

Click on the Registration button which can be found on the top menu of every page. You must create an account on this web site in order to register.

4. How much does registration cost?

Basic registration is free. Limited Edition registration is $10.00 for the event only geocoin. Artist Edition registration is $20.00 and includes both the event only geocoin and a t-shirt (XXL and XXXL shirts are an additional $2.00 charge).

5. Why do I need to register?

Although walk ins are welcome, we urge everyone to register for the event. This allows us to adequately prepare for the event.   There will be a very limited number of extra registration packages available for walk ins.  Unless you purchase the Limited Edition or Artist Edition registration package prior to the event, you will not be guaranteed an event only geocoin

6. What does my registration fee include?

Depending on what registration package you purchase (Regular Edition is free), the Limited Edition (LE) includes the event only geocoin, the Artist Edition (AE) includes the same as the LE registration and a t-shirt.  All registration packages will contain some free items along with coupons and information regarding local businesses.  The first 100 Limited Edition or Artist Edition registration packages will contain some extra surprises.

7. Can I change my registration?

You may add or remove members to your caching team and purchase additional items up to the registration cutoff date (TBA). However, you cannot upgrade/downgrade your registration package.

8. Can I have my coins / t-shirts / etc. shipped to me?

No. Registration packets will not be mailed and can only be picked up at the event. Registration fees do not include shipping. Any registration packages NOT picked up by 2:00pm EST will be auctioned off with the proceeds going to the Geocoinfest event.

9. I just found out that I cannot attend the event, can I have someone pick up my registration materials for me?

Yes. If you cannot attend the event, you can send your registration Paypal receipt with whomever you like to pick up your materials.

10. What metal finishes are the event geocoins available in?

We are still waiting on samples from the mint. As such, metal finishes are TBD.
