Pittsburgh, the second largest city in Pennsylvania, is located in southwestern PA. It was built on land surrounding the confluence of the Allegheny and Monongahela rivers, where they merge to form the Ohio River; Pittsburgh features a skyline of 151 skyscrapers, 446 bridges, two inclines and a pre-revolutionary fortification.

Geocaching
Those geocoin folks visiting SWPA would have the opportunity to pick up a few extra geocaching states rather easily. West Virginia is only ~ 30 minutes away, Ohio ~ 45 minutes away, and Maryland ~ 90 minutes away. Looking to add another country to your list? Niagara Falls is only 4 hours away (plus you could also add NY to your state list)! If you have a serious sweet tooth…Hershey is a 4 hour drive down the turnpike.
